  • Hi, thank you for helping us exercise. My husband and I started this work out this morning. My husband is 65 and I am 61. We are on Keto, my husband has lost 61 lbs. I am having trouble loosing. I have lost 24 lbs then I gain 5. I know I have lost in inches. Because all my pants are baggy. I know men loose faster than women, which sucks. Our chiropractor said I needed to start exercising. So here we are.

    • Hi! Congratulations on starting to exercise! See how you do with the gentle exercises but if you can, move up to the beginner workouts since you will burn more calories. The 7 day seated workout would likely be suitable. Are you wanting to do seated or standing?

  • Thanks. I’m 49 but have been encouraged to stop walking for two weeks to get my hip pain to settle down. I usually walk 10,000-15,000 steps a day. I’m enjoying your videos and will share with my parents.

    • Thanks so much, Louise! I hope your hip pain improves for you soon and thank you for sharing the videos with your parents:)

  • Just turned 70 & have knee issues. Thanx 4 these exercises. Enjoyed them & felt was doing something very beneficial for my health. Stay safe & healthy! Cheers from sunny Panama, Rep. of Panama.

    • Hi all the way from Panama! I’m happy to hear you are enjoying the workouts:) Wishing you a healthy 70th year!

  • I have osteoarthritis in both knees but I love to move my body. I try to walk a mile 5 times a week, even in my apartment. These range of motion exercises were a perfect addition to my walks! They were not strenuous and I actually enjoyed them! Thank you for taking your time out to do these exercises for us seniors! ❤

    • Hi Tamara, I am so happy to read you enjoyed this workout. Have you tried my standing workout for osteoarthritis? My dad suffered from it as well and since doing the specific exercises, he no longer has any pain. I’d like to recommend trying the workout to see if it helps you.

  • Hi Julie, this is Yettie. I enjoyed your class and can do everything except right now my right arm is causing me pain and I am waiting for physio so I will do what I can. Again thank you for this and I shall continue. Btw you are looking great! 🙂

    • Hi Yettie! I was surprised to see your comment since you’re the first person I actually know. I’ll have to tell my mom and get caught up on your news since it’s likely been 20+ years since I’ve seen you. Amazing how time flies by. And yes, please take it easy on your arm until you get it checked out by physio. I hope you and your family are all well.

  • thank you for this class, this is my first time doing any exercise but I have to start and your exercise class was so good, thank you again

    • Congratulations for searching out exercises and taking part!!! We all have to start somewhere. I truly hope you continue to come back day after day.

  • My husband is in mid-stage dementia. I’ve been looking for exercise programs that are both appropriate to his physical conditions and are understandable for him. Your programs fit his needs extremely well. He enjoys doing them, does them willingly and comments on the program being so good and your presentation so easy to follow. In addition to this set, he also does the one for dementia. Thank you!

    • Hi Rose, I am sorry to hear about your husband but I am very happy to read you are helping him by finding appropriate exercise workouts. I work full-time with people from early to advanced stages. Most of my gentle seated workouts would likely be suitable for him. If you go to the playlists you’ll find more workouts there. Although, for most people in moderate to advanced stages, the familiarity of the exercises might be best. You know him well, though, so I’ll leave that for you to decide:) I have a plan to make a new one very soon.

  • Hi thanks for the class today I’m in hospital again with lung infection so I’m joining into the class to keep my airways open. I showed the physiotherapist loved the channel as well. Thanks again. Rosie

    • I’m sorry to hear that you are in the hospital, Rosemarie. I wish you a speedy recovery so you can get back home again soon. I’m glad to read the PT loved the channel…thank you for letting me know. 💕

  • Another good one to do! I like that it is a beginner workout, but uses the water bottles! Some days, like today, I want to do a video for about 20 minutes, and want to feel I accomplished something without wearing myself out! I am enjoying doing your seated videos as time goes on ! So far 3 each week, since Jan. 27! Yay for me!
    Thank you!
    👍

  • I just found this class and I absolutely love it. I am 53 but these exercises are so beneficial. Thank you so much. I am a fan

  • I am 54 years old and I stumbled across your video. I got a little comfortable not exercising, though I am a very active person, never really stay put. When I found your videos I loved them. I actually do them at work, at the beginning of my day and it has made such a big difference. Thank you, I also love how you incorporate old music I love. The music videos I have to say are my favorite.

    • Thanks so much for taking the time to let me know that you are enjoying these videos, Nancy. Also, congrats for starting to incorporate exercise into your life (and it’s great that you are active outside of scheduled exercise). I hope you continue to enjoy working out:) I’m thrilled to read that you feel a difference.

  • Well I see you did this one year ago but I just found you and LOVE your pace, exercises and everything. The ONLY request I have is omitting the music. I find it hard to focus and relax. But I will keep doing your gentle workouts they’re PERFECT for me, I’m 68 with a herniated disc which all these gentle exercises are helping tremendously!! Just so you know, at my mother’s Retirement/Assisted Living Community (Chandler’s Square in Washington State), they play your videos muted in the common room hours at a time it seems, so I recognized you and picked you for that reason. Thank you, am going to see what all else you have, perfect pace for me.

    • Oh wow, thank you so much for letting me know about seeing my videos at the RH. That’s great news. In regards to the music, I get such mixed reviews on that. Some people prefer no music, others say they love it. I think in the future I’ll just have to create both to give people more options. If you go into my playlists, you’ll see lots of options for gentle seated and standing workouts there. I hope you enjoy the options. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment.

    • @Improved Health Yes I imagine different people have different preferences and I hesitated to say anything for that reason thank you for all the great videos I found a whole bunch more!
