  • Had a “cue” yesterday at neighbor’s home for Christmas dinner. I’ve lost a lot of weight on Keto. She has been excited for me as the fat melts away…. When I walked in, she announced that it was a “no diet day!” I felt the cue happen in my brain, seriously! It wasn’t as powerful as it used to be. It worked more than I like though. I did eat a little of everything except the bread. (I’m 74 and ate bread multiple times a day for probably 65+ years. – that was most difficult to change.) anyway, I had some sweets and was able to stop before it got too bad. I looked forward to getting back on the “wagon” today. I don’t like how the carbs and sweets made me feel.

    My sugar this morning was normal and ketones almost non-existent. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m back at it today.

  • I never thought cutting back would make the cravings go so quickly…the memory is still there but that’s another chapter. I had cupcake for Xmas, I had one cookie, felt a little off but was fine. Today I don’t need it. I can look at chocolate advent calendars and feel no real impulse. I thank you for that and am interested in seeing what is in the book.

  • I love your demeanor Dr. Becky. Your sincerity and gentle approach is what sparked my interest. And I am certain I can trust your knowledge. I’ve seen quite a few of your videos, but I didn’t follow through with anything. I need something to keep me consistent. So I pre-ordered the book. I’m looking forward to with the challenge of zero sugar. I had success on the South Beach Diet and I got through the initial first 3 weeks which was the reset phase, so I know I can do this.
