When insulin resistance is present, insulin cannot efficiently move sugar out of your blood and into your cells. This makes weight loss difficult because the resulting high blood sugar and insulin levels block fat loss and make you feel tired and hungry. If it is allowed to progress, this resistance can lead to type 2 diabetes. A full diagnosis requires blood work, but there are markers that you can see on your body or that are revealed through your diet and lifestyle that may indicate that you have insulin resistance. This video shares what they are and what to do if you have them.

Thank you again from Johannesburg South Africa 🇿🇦
Hi Doc, is it true that combining fats and protein with a carb makes it less insulin resistant?
Example:
Wheat bread + avocado or egg or peanut butter
Rice + Salmon
I miss seeing your husband 😢on the channel

Hi Dr. Becky, love your videos, and the way you so pleasantly and clearly deliver your information. Very user-friendly. 🙂

Enjoy your videos. I particularly enjoy this time as you wrapped up both sides of your message. Those bullets repeated at the end really help solidify specifics about the information. Thank you for your work.
Blessings Dr Becky from Chicago. I started a kego diet in 2023. My glucose levels fell so that my primary lowered my Metformin. She also changed my blood pressure medication. I’m eating one or two meals a day. The only issue is, I’m not losing any weight. Walking, is my exercise. I’m a 70 year old female.
I have had similar results. Much Improved blood sugar but all year I’ve only lost 5 lbs.
What a blessing you are and glad I found you.
My daughter, Brookelynn and I have been following you for quite awhile and getting great results. ❤️
How do I find the low carb cheat sheet? Thanks.
Great info .Thanks
