  • This is so true. The giant leap was already making the decision to improve health! So these baby steps def boost the progress. ❤

  • This was so good to hear today! I had a total hysterectomy including removal of my ovaries & tubes a week ago and can’t do any exercises for 6 weeks except for easy walking. Baby steps now are accepting that I’ve got to be in self-care mode, and that all will fall back into place in due time. Thanks for the reminder!

  • “I am a person who doesn’t snack after dinner”. That is my baby step for now. Asking myself what I really need in the moment. Sometimes it is just a few deep breaths and an acknowledgement of the thought. “Hello old friend. I know you.”

    • How do you feel about sipping on decaf or maybe tea. That was me too! Noticed that having something in my hands after dinner like a mug with tea or decaf or a splash of a milk helped in the beginning and slowly you adjust. You’re gonna do it!! 🤗🤗🤗

  • Love these daily posts. Also love the topics you cover in your many, many workouts. I am currently following the series w 65 workouts. Baby steps in exercise and mindset are working for me!

  • I have a quick question/suggestion Pahla. Was wondering if there is any way you could mention on your work out videos, how many calories would be used on that work out? Any way to do that?

  • This 100% worked for me. I was double my appropriate weight and didn’t exercise at all. I decided to set goals every two weeks to move toward being healthier. My first two week goals were embarrassingly small — drink one glass of water each day, eat one serving of a fruit or vegetable each day, and eat less junk food. That got me started, and I am now within 10 pounds of my doctors target weight for me, and walk, dance, lift weights, and do Pilates regularly. At 65 I am far healthier than I was in my 30’s.

  • Yes, it’s absolutely true. Or, as my mother used to say, “Don’t bite off more than you can chew”. Very apropos.

  • Pahla, your videos never come up on my youtube feed. I am subscribed and the bell is checked for all. Wonder why? Thank you for all you do.

  • What would be a good place to start for a beginner in working out? I play pickle ball 3-4 times a week, but I need a consistent workout routine and to start small with 5-10 minutes. What would be the best exercises or a video to begin with?

  • After losing weight so beautifully in 2022 (around 30lbs!) I am now on my “last” 10-14lbs and I am really struggling 😔… I am always hungry (could also be because it is winter and I am always cold!), I am not sleeping terribly well and just on the whole feel a bit “meh” 😒 I have been in plateau now for at least 3 months and it is really getting me down 😔
