Weight Training for Seniors & Beginners // FUNctional Workout!

Hello and welcome to this FUNctional strength training workout! This 30 minute workout with optional weights is a MUST DO for everyone. All exercises are performed in a standing position and are low impact. This is the perfect workout if you are a beginner or a senior that needs to build strength and want to be able to continue to perform your everyday activities.

Structure of this workout:
One lower body movement without weights, one upper body movement without weights. Repeat those two movements with weights. Move on to two new exercises…

I'm using 5 pound weights in this workout. Please use whatever weights you have and are comfortable with. If you have light dumbbells you may go faster than me. Or if you are using heavier dumbbells you may go slower than me. Always go at your own pace and use a dumbbell that is an appropriate size for you.
