Thank you for joining me for this great full body strength training workout. After a nice dynamic warm up we will perform compound exercises for 60 seconds, then rest for 15 seconds. There is a timer for each exercise so you are able to go at your own pace.
I'm using one 8 pound dumbbell in this workout. Please use whatever weight you have and are comfortable with. If you are unsure, new to working out, or new to my channel, then please use a lighter weight such as 3 or 5 pounds. You will still get a great workout!
There are a few exercises that have modifications if you have osteoporosis or spinal health ailments. Please keep an eye out for the modification boxes that will pop up on the screen. These modifications allow you to move safely with bending or twisting your spine.
I hope you enjoyed this workout! Please let me know what you think in the comments. I love hearing from my viewers!

Wonderful! This one packs it all!
I am 25 years old but I love your videos. Keep it up. You make me wanna become more active.
Yay! I love to hear that! Thanks Adriana 🙂
Just had to comment again on what a wonderful workout you put together. I am so happy to find you really seem to understand the aging body. I have always tried to stay fit. It’s so hard to accept that we do develop limitations but you arrange the moves that feel safe yet challenging for me. Thanks so much Lauren. Really find you demeanor so calm and encouraging. 😊
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind feedback and I’m thrilled that you are enjoying my workouts Peter 🙂 I created this channel exactly for viewers such as yourself.
The seated stretchy band workout had been my favorite but this video just took its place. This is challenging for me
but I really felt I did my body some good when it was over. I have a recumbent bike at home so I began with 10 minutes of cycling and then dove into this. I loved it-oh, and thank you for the modifications. They were a great help.
Excellent! I love that you threw a little cardio in before this too. Thanks Janet 🙂
This Compound workout required more focus. Looking forward to doing it again.
absolutely! I always like to make it a workout for the brain as well 🙂
again, i enjoy working out with you. as we age we need this king or exercise to keep out body fit and in motion. thank you.
Exactly Christiane! Glad you enjoyed it 🙂

Great Margarete! Thanks so much 🙂
Another winner!!! ❤
Hi there, Lauren! Well I had carpal tunnel surgery on Friday so when I saw this new video, I thought “Darn! I won’t be able to do that for a while.” But then I thought, maybe I can…. I did the whole thing using a mini ball instead of a weight and it felt so good! Not as effective I’m sure, but I did manage to break a sweat! When there’s a will, there’s a way! Thank you for all your wonderful workouts!
