I so relate to the mouth breathing. I’ve noticed it in myself over the last year or so and have been using nasal sprays for allergies to try to open the airways up. My friend is a respiratory therapist and suggested a little “turbine” nasal dilator which works great for exercise and sleeping but looks silly to wear through the day so can’t wear it all the time 😊

I was in a very bad abusive relationship with a narcissist, after years I finally separated. I was in my forties at the time and noticed I was having a hard time relaxing and I was stiff and tense. My thinking was not so good and I was having trouble concentrating. I was walking on egg shells for a long time and felt like I was in fight or flight. I was raising my son and needed to relax. I knew I needed mental clarity but could not afford a therapist at the time. I went online to find a holistic way to relax and heal. Learning breathing techniques saved me! I never thought something as simple as breathing could have such an impact. As I learned controlled breathing, I found my true freedom. I am now at the point where I can make hiccups go away in 30 seconds just through breathing. I began to combine this with yoga movement. I wish I had found this years ago. My muscles are no longer tense and stiff and my mind is so much clearer. I have my life back, my son is graduating high school and I am turning 54 next month. Thank you for sharing.
