Count To 6 To Look Younger! #shorts


Look younger by lengthening your breath to take 6 breaths per minute. Breathwork techniques help us in so many ways and when we learn to Inhale for 4 and exhale for 6, we take 6 breaths per minute. The practice of taking six breaths per minute is an example of a breathing exercise that falls under the broader umbrella of mindfulness and stress reduction techniques.

Stress reduction: Deep, slow breathing is a common relaxation technique that can reduce stress and anxiety. Chronic stress can accelerate the aging process, leading to premature wrinkles, gray hair, and other signs of aging. So, by reducing stress, these exercises could indirectly help you look younger.

Improved sleep: Slow, deep breathing before bed can help improve sleep quality. Getting a good night's sleep is crucial for overall health and can keep your skin looking fresh and youthful. Lack of sleep can lead to dull skin, dark circles under the eyes, and accelerated aging.

Better oxygen flow: Deep breathing helps increase the oxygen flow in your body. This can aid cell regeneration and repair, including skin cells, which might help maintain a youthful appearance.

Lower blood pressure: Slow, deep breathing can also help lower blood pressure. High blood pressure can lead to various health problems, including those that might affect your physical appearance.

Boosts mood: These exercises can also help boost your mood by increasing the production of 'feel good' hormones such as endorphins. A happier disposition and reduced stress can help maintain a more youthful, vibrant appearance.

Improves posture: Proper deep breathing techniques often encourage better posture, which can influence your overall appearance, making you look more confident and youthful.

Remember, although these effects might indirectly contribute to a more youthful appearance, they should be complemented with a balanced diet, regular exercise, sufficient hydration, and proper skincare regimen. Always consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new health practice.
