Why You Can’t Get Lean-Even Lifting Weights After 50

You can't get lean even lifting weights after 50 if you aren't digesting well. If you can't break down the protein you consume your body is missing the essential macro and micronutrients it needs. You simply can't absorb them if you can't digest well. If there are any signs of bloat, gas, constipation or diarrhea this may be a clue that digestion isn't optimal and even all the best dietary and exercise habits aren't going to get results.

Consider checking your micronutrient sufficiency or asking for a stool test that can tell you more about the shape your gut is in. Ask a functional health coach or a functional doctor for support. Some supplements can help, like digestive enzymes and probiotics yet it's often best to find out first what's happening with a few tests so you're taking something on target for your health.
