  • Great Information as always, it is amazing how different food effect each person. Glad to have you back on Youtube!

  • Watching your videos gives me tons of support. Thank you. I always know “change for me is hard for the first ten days”
After 10 days my changes or challenges become easier.
I’m On day 9 of 20/4 and a couple of days I went to 22 because it became easier because I learned to use the tools you provide in your videos.

  • Hello I’m so excited I discovered your channel I’m currently as of Jan 2021 doing the 16/8 intermittent fasting and your channel is great thank you for your contents 💪🏾

  • My sister suggested I watch your videos after she took your course. I am now motivated to start educating myself about what actually makes me look and feel better. Thank you for that! By the way, I had to stop weighting myself on a regular basis because it was causing unnecessary anxiety. I am looking forward to making better food choices and giving myself a little more grace. Day two of drinking at least a gallon of water!

    • Welcome. It is great to have you here with us. We have our next course starting on Nov 6th. We would love to have you!

  • Hi from Queensland .Australia
    I have been doing IF for 12 month’s 16/8 ,I’ve just increased to 20 / 4 , feeling great .
    @ 74 years young .
Thank you for your blogs .

  • i really appreciate you and your knowledge and experience and sharing with us!!!!!! just found you last week and have done the fast 4 days so far. i fasted 16 hours day 1, 18 hours day 2 and day 3 and day 4 then i did 19 hours both those days. thanks. my goal is 20 hours tomorrow.

  • I love the fact that you say to choose foods that make you feel your best. Staying authentic is so important because there’s no “right” way to eat. There’s only what works for each of us. I found letting go of sugar and processed foods was life changing and also eating more fats, fruit, and grass fed beef works for me. I’m willing to share what works for me, I know that lots of people don’t agree and I’m cool with that:)

    • I also have a eliminated process food and and all sugars. It has eliminated any food cravings for me.

    • @sharon robbins Yes! So much of the food that we have grown up on is addictive and causes inflammation in our body’s. If I can’t hunt it, grow it, or pick it off a tree I don’t eat it 😉

  • Love that you encourage us to test & find what works for us/affects us and our goals as grown women. Looking forward to class in August. In the meantime watching more of your videos. Testing 20 hr fasting/4 hr feast. Love “get off the wagon” and “there’s no wagon and no towel you throw in” just decisions and choices. Permission to be released from negative/punitive thoughts.

  • Started 18/6 for the past 2 weeks, and then switched over to 20/4. Where has this been all my life. I am loving that I can eat one healthy meal and don’t have to worry about anything else. No more acid reflux. I have been on a “binge” this weekend watching your video. I am looking forward to being a watchful subscriber.

    • I’m happy I found you. I’ve been doing this pattern for years and I always feel so good! But so many people tell me it’s bad to skip meals and now I feel free to eat dinner w my family as I have always enjoyed doing!

    • Hi I’m new to your channel I live in Roselle Park Nj I’m 57 years old and I’m curious about 20 hour fast 4 hour feast I’ve tried the 16/8 fast I lost 6 lbs but I’m stuck . Please help me . I had gastric sleeve surgery 5 years and the doctored want to perform bypass surgery which involves re-the intestines so not only do I have a half of stomach but now they’re trying to suggest that I reroute the intestines and that caused me to lose extra 20 pounds and it’s not worth it my goal weight is to be in between 170 and 175 pounds and I’m 5’6 ft t all and I’m active I worked 12 hours a day seven days a week I work out I walk a lot 2-3 miles a day and I guess my biggest problem is what not to eat because I cook my meals and meal for up and I try to keep my sugar intake Pillow 10 g but I think I need to go even lower so please help me

  • Great video! It makes really good sense. Do you have a video on preventing osteoporosis? Thanks for sharing!!!

  • I started the 20 hour fast about six days ago and have lost about six pounds. It’s been relatively easy for me as I’m not a breakfast eater. I have black coffee in the morning and have one meal a day around 4:00. SLEEP is EVERYTHING. When I don’t get enough sleep, I don’t lose any weight. I eat only whole foods and fresh, wild caught seafood – no meat. Learning what makes me feel most clear and energized – I know it will take some time. Thanks for your your videos – so happy to have discovered you!

  • It’s been a minute since you posted this video, but it just popped up in my YT feed. I’m in your current IF class, & I was JUST abt to post a question in the class group asking how you determined what was causing the bags under your eyes. Perfect timing, & I’m looking forward to some testing.

  • Thanks for this great information. I’m just watching this on July 13, 2022 – day 2. I love your realistic and flexible approach! I had some scheduled lunches already this week, but am working with them and resetting my 20 hr. window based on the times I’m meeting with friends. My husband and I are doing this together and we both feel great! We were doing 14-16 IF before, but I got off track. I’m amazed at how easy it is to do 20 hr. fasting. PTL!!!

  • Have been doing 16/8 and love it but no longer works for me as i am in perimenopause and stopped breastfeeding . I have 7 pounds extra which does not seem much but for me that is my whole tire around the waist. So starting the 20/4 fast today! Thank you!

  • Hi, I have been on 18/6 in the last 2weeks and lost 9lbs. I have just subscribed to your channel 👍 You explain everything really well. Thank you🌟

  • I’ve been fasting clean for about 5 months and I’ve seen decent results, but I was really intrigued by your suggestion to prove to yourself how certain foods affect you. Can you suggest how to best identify some of those foods? There are millions of individual components of food that you could test, or there are all encompassing categories that you could tackle, but can you list a few sensible “foods” to tackle to get started with? To use exaggerated examples – “grains” is a huge category that could encompass 25% of your food intake but the problem food could simply be “wheat”. Anything “Dairy” could be milk, creams, butter, yogurt, cottage cheese, aged cheese, processed cheese, so to eliminate ALL dairy for a period would be crazy if the problem could just be aged cheese. By the same token, just eliminating aged cheese would not be very useful if you have issues with the entire dairy family. I’m just looking for a few suggestions of types of things to start with because once you start, I know you can build on it.

  • I had food sensitivity testing done at my Naturopath’s office, then I eliminated the foods I was sensitive to. A much quicker path to eliminate foods harmful to me, and I felt better the first day. Much simpler than taking a year to experiment, and totally worth the $250 I paid to get it done.

    • Hi! That sounds like a very wise decision. I would like to do the same.
What is the name of the test and what is naturopath? Is it a doctor, nutritionist? So that I may search for one here where I live? Thanks.

    • @The Arched Promise A naturopathic doctor approaches health in a different way. They are able to prescribe meds but mainly use supplements and other adjuncts. Learning your food sensitivities, stool testing , genetic stuff is so helpful. I recommend MaryK Geyer ND. She does virtual appointments with people all over. She’s based in Arizona.

  • Hi Dy Ann, am so thankful I found you. I’ve been doing IF 18.6 for a year, lost 2 stone with 2 more to go but for the last 6wks no further weight loss and was becoming frustrated. After watching +listening to you, I now know my mistakes…….No more unconsciously breaking my fast with diet soda or coffee +milk. Am starting 20.4 today and drinking only water in my fast time and will enjoy my usual drinks only in my feasting times now. Thank-you so much for putting me back on track to a healthier weight and life. Love from Ireland.

  • I love the 30 day elimination idea so much. It’s temporary and data collecting. Why have I not done this with those foods I cling to? Thank you so much. I’ll be instituting this immediately! 👍🏻
