    • You’re so welcome Vicki! maybe try the heavier weights next time, or with just some of the exercises. if you don’t want your heavier weights gathering dust, check out my one weight dumbbell video. I use a 12lb! as always, thanks for working out with me!

  • JUST turned 60yo and after 50+ years of accident/injury, hard work, breaks/tweaks, operations…OMG. THIS workout is JUST right. SO thankful to find someone who “gets” ‘Senior’ workouts! Just the right amount of encouragement with challenge and more encouragement and no pressure to MAAAAX or whatever. I’ve been here daily x 2 weeks now and just increased to 5# weights. This is after years of not working these muscles/groups. Wonderful full body weight training with Dumbbells. Bouncing back and forth with a similar one of your’s since previous injuries prohibit “barre” work. I’d LOVE to see a “Senior & Beginner Workout – 30 Minute Full Body Weight Training with Dumbbells, II/2.0!” Thank you again! 🙂

    • Thank you so much for your comments John! It sounds like you have been working hard. Try this video I just just posted last week and start with your 5 pound weights. https://youtu.be/5Xc1n9oVW9A
For some more variety you could also do the 2nd half of my weight loss workout, which is also strength training! Let me know what you think. 🙌🏻

  • Great work out! Thank you. Since our gym has closed down, this is a wonderful workout -at-home alternative. I’m 67 and still can do 5 lbs….maybe more for certain exercises, but I’m going slow.

  • I’m 24 and I knew I needed an easy workout but I laughed at the thought of doing a workout for older people but lemme just tell you, this workout kicked my butt. I loved it! It was calm, easy paced and just all around a perfect workout for anyone just trying to find somewhere to start. 🙏🏽

    • Yay! So glad you tried it! My channel is for everyone. I have a lot of teachers that use it for their students as well. Make sure to try more of my videos and thanks for working out with me!

  • I am 62 years old and workout 3-4 times a week. I like mixing up my routine with different workouts and your channel is just perfect. I used 5 pound dumbbells and finished it off with 8 pounds on the mat. I just subscribed to your channel and I absolutely love it!

  • Thank you for this. I’m 76 and my wife is 79 and I came across your vid by just surfing. On a whim I thought I’d see how far I could go with it and lo and behold I was able to stay with you the whole session. We are now into the 3rd time and have already seen some positive changes, especially getting out of bed or up from the floor. My wife is using 2 lbs and I’m using 3 lbs and hope to increase as we go along. I’m looking forward to following some of your other sessions as we gain some strength and mobility back.

    • Wow! Good for you Wayne! I’m thrilled that you are enjoying my workouts and already seeing changes 🙌🏻. Keep up the good work! I recommend trying another one of my strength workouts for some variety 💜

    • @Wayne if you are strength training it’s good to give the muscles a day of rest especially if you are sore. It would be good to do some walking, cardio or yoga on your days “off”

  • Great workout, much more powerful than expected. Appreciate the thorough, clear, concise instruction.

  • I love the style of your workouts. You deliver instructions in a kind and gentle manner which makes them easy to follow. Thank You!!

  • Age 53 and so thrilled to find you today! Wonderful workout, and just what I needed…will be a lifelong subscriber! Thank You!

    • Thank you so much Tabetha! Welcome to my channel, I hope find a lot more workouts that you like! 💜

  • I’m so fortunate to have your workouts! I was having some shoulder stiffness and limited use of my right shoulder. Your workouts have helped me so much! Thanks so much! I do the workouts 3 times a week and walk 5 days a week.

  • I just found your channel. This is the first video I have done. I love it, my body loves it! No gimmicks, no superfluous chattiness, just a straight-forward full-body strength workout. I especially like the reminders on maintaining form throughout the movement. I also like your remarks on which specific muscles one should be engaging. The only thing I did not like was that the video sometimes lagged and stopped, which I imagine is not within your control. I look forward to exploring more of your videos.

    • Wonderful Michelle! I’m so glad you found me and loved the workout. Please try more and hopefully you won’t have the lagging anymore.
