    When I started learning that adequate protein would allow feelings of satisfaction and contentment I stopped craving everything and rarely โ€œneedโ€ a treat. But never feel bad to have one. Because one is finally enough.
    When you are malnourished your body will keep focusing on food. Its not about emotional battles you need to work on. Itโ€™s actually pretty physical and completely healing to focus on macros.
    The most under eaten macro is protein but you are never told how much to eat based on activity just body size. I eat 1- 1.5 grams per lb body weight to keep the nibbles away. And I never have emotional โ€œeating episodesโ€ and I used to struggle with bulimia.

    I thought for decades I had no self control. I was just hungry
