  • I have been sticking to chair and floor mat workouts for the past few months due to a foot injury, but I watched this new video, and this walking workout looks like a nice, gentle way to ease back into walking once my doctor gives me the go-ahead to do so. I also loved hearing about Aiko’s 25-cent elementary school tap-dance classes, and it seemed as if April just heard about that for the first time while making this video, so I felt as if I was witnessing a nice family moment between the two of you!

    • We’re so happy you enjoyed this video — I learned about my mom’s tap dancing for the first time while making it. You and yes2next community made this special moment happen. Thank you! We’re honored to help you recover from your foot injury – for variety, we have shorter walking workouts and those in a chair. Wishing you good health and strength. ❤️

    • @yes2next Yes, I have done some of your chair workouts and the seated versions of some of the ones you and your mom have demonstrated both ways. Thanks for your response and good wishes! 🙂

  • Yesss! Another great workout. April and Aiko you are both so inspiring. Your videos became part of my daily routine. I can only express my gratitude 🙏. Thank you.

  • Love this having the warm up, exercise and cooldown all in one video!…did struggle the first time but kept on thinking about 4200 steps..I will soon need to keep up with my 5 grandchildren…TY

    • So sorry for the delay in replying. For some reason, this didn’t show up in my usual list of comments. We’re so happy you enjoyed this workout — Great job on completing it!! You’ll be running circles around your grandchildren soon! 😁 Thank you so much!!

  • Thank you for this easy to follow workout. I am glad you included the warmup and cool down. It’s nice we don’t have to search for them and the video is therefore continuous.

  • It was wonderful to be able to do this today… and even ramp up on some of them. It is the day before Easter, and doing this shows how far I have progressed. I am improving constantly – I am rejuvenated and “resurrected” from the sedentary way I had been in for many, many months! Thank you April and Aiko!

    • SO SO proud of you! Congratulations on doing this workout! You’ve come a long way and nothing can stop you now. Keep up the awesome work! See you soon!

    • Wow! That is terrific! 👏 Congratulations on your terrific efforts to stay fit and healthy! It makes us feel very happy to know and we hope you will continue working out with us! ❤️

  • Enjoying this longer 40 minute exercise session. I really like having the warm up and cool down there too, I cant usually be bothered looking for for another video to do this but when it is included I do it! 10 seconds longer makes a huge difference but it is good. Say hello to your mum, I always think if she can do it, so can I..

    • We are so sorry for the delay in replying. Somehow your message didn’t appear right away. Thank you for your helpful comments. We are including warm ups and cool downs in all of our new videos — we apologize for the inconvenience with the older videos. Thank you for spending time with us — we really appreciate it! My mom says hi and is honored to inspire you!

    • Thank you! We plan on doing just that in future videos. We know how important new challenges and goals are to exercise! 👏

  • I’m so glad you keep reminding us to breathe 😀. I’m loving these sessions. I get up earlier for work these days just so I can squeeze the 10 minute session in before I start the day. Then, one of the longer sessions in the evening. At 60, I’m starting to feel good! So glad I found you. 😍

    • We are so happy you found us! We love to help you start and end your days. It brings us joy to hear you’re starting to feel good! Keep up the great work. You’re 60-years-young and there’s no stopping you now! We’re honored to help you get stronger!

    • Thank you for joining us! 👏Go slow and at a pace that is comfortable for you. No need to rush. Your body will let you know it’s ready for more intensity as you get stronger! Keep it going and keep moving with us! See you soon! ❤️

  • Thank you for the very good workout. I was sweating at the end of the video which is a good sign for me that I am actually burning some fats. I love the fact that you explained each movement and what it is doing to help the different muscles of our body.

    • Thank you! Sweating is good! 👏 You raised your heart rate and worked your muscles while completing this challenging workout! Good job! 👏Keep up the good work and keep moving (and sweating) with us too! See you soon! ❤️

  • Great workout. Love the interaction and the warm and welcoming atmosphere. I work out with my husband and he loves the pyramid workouts. Any chance of getting one that is 40 minutes or longer? Thank you so much for the videos, and I am working my way through some of them.

    • Thank you! Terrific that you and hubby are working out together! We do have 40 minute workouts but none in the pyramid format! But we will plan on them soon! Thx for the suggestion! Keep moving together and you will stay healthy and fit together! See you soon! ❤️

  • Thanks so much for this 40 minute workout. This was my first session with you and your mum but it won’t be my last. I enjoyed it from start to finish. I especially liked the upper body movements. As I get older, I find the strength waning in my upper body and find it necessary to work a little harder at improving my core. I wore ankle weights today but will try the workout with light hand weights the next time. Thanks again for a most enjoyable 40 minutes.

    • Thank you! Love ❤️ having you working out with us! Glad you enjoyed the workout! It’s a challenging one and good work completing it! Using weights is a good idea to create resistance and it seems you know how to use them too! Keep it going and keep moving with us! See you at our next workout! ❤️

  • Thanks for adding the warmup and cool down for this workout. 🙏Aways love that it is a moderate pace. you are both inspiring me to keep up walking each day 🙂

    • Thank you! Happy you liked the workout! It’s always good to go at a pace that is comfortable for you! The good benefits to your heart and muscles are the same as if you were a speedo! Keep it going and keep moving with us! You are doing great! See you soon! ❤️
