10 Minute BEE GEES WORKOUT | Exercises for Seniors & Beginners | 70’s Workout | No talking💗

Workout to the Bee Gees! This is a short 10 minute workout created for Bee Gees fans! This is a low impact, beginner workout suitable for all ages but mostly with seniors in mind (since you are the ones who were around in the 70's when the great bands like the Bee Gees were getting all of you out on the dance floor!). I had fun creating this video and I hope you enjoy it, too. The total step count is 1177. Please keep in mind there will be ads in the video. When copyrighted music is used, I don't have any control over where ads can be placed in the video. To see workouts without ads, please choose one of my other workouts without popular music:)

I will have a seated version coming out in a few days for those of you who can't do the standing exercises.

Please subscribe and write a comment! I'd love to hear from you! To see future videos, please be sure to turn your notifications on (hit the bell beside the subscribe button).

Wishing you improved health!
Jules

I often have people ask where I purchased specific clothing I am wearing so if you are interested, the t-shirt is from Under Armour and called 'Velocity Crew'. I could not find it online even though I purchased it recently from the store but this link is of another one that is very similar to the one I am wearing:

  • This is is one of my favorites!! I love the music, love the moves! It gets my heart pumping and the endorphins flowing. The 10 minutes flew by and I like that the movements are effective but not complicated. More of these please. Thanks so much!

    • Thanks Mary! I purposely made the moves doable since I know a lot of people struggle with the more complicated moves. Plus, quite honestly, I can’t do the complicated moves, either! If you saw me practicing with the John Travolta moves, you’d all be on the floor laughing…or feeling really sorry for me! Lol. I had a fun time creating this one even though I had to redo it several times to get it right:)

  • ‘Stayin’ Alive’ was my favourite song to exercise to in exercise classes for women with breast cancer in 2003!! Enjoyed it again today.!🥰 Thanks. Still stayin’ alive. 🥳

  • Absolutely superb!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing lifts your spirits during a pandemic like the Bee Gees!!!! A million thumbs up!!! Sure would like to see you do a 20-30 minute video featuring music from the British Explosion groups: Beatles, Rolling Stones, Hollies, with some CCR thrown in as well as some Doobie Brothers!!!

    • Thanks Suzanne! I’ll see what I can do in the future:). I have tons of music I would love to use but only certain music is allowed.

  • I Loved this! You made my 🌅 ng! Thank you so much for putting out so many wonderful videos with high energy perfect music many of us can connect with. What a wonderful, happy way to start our day. 70 and still going strong 😂♥️

  • I love these musical themed workouts Jules! Would you consider doing more of these as 20 minute workouts? My Apple Watch records 1 mile for 20 minute workouts. Thank you again for all your amazing workouts. They really do make a difference!

    • Thanks so much, Karen. Using copyrighted material has proven to be quite the challenge but I will add more when I can as 20 minute workouts:) Good to know about the 1 mile for 20 minutes…thanks for that info!

  • 🥳 awesome workout trainer!!!
The exercise clothes were on point, better classy than trashy 👍 . Love The Bee Gees and that era. I’m 210 lbs and easy enough for me to start (thank you).

    • Thanks so much, Barbara! Welcome to my channel! If you look at the playlists, the workouts are categorized into different fitness levels so hopefully you will find other classes that you will enjoy.

    • I’ve been there and now moving, feels great, my plan is to work with this vid for three weeks then add more minutes for the next week and so on, good luck with the ongoing workouts Barbara

  • We love this one, too, for our evening workout. This was our second time for this one. The time just flew by!
Well, it was just 10 minutes, but, you know….

  • Bonjour, I am a professionnal on sick leave because of depression since november 2021. Nothing was helping me getting out of it so far. I started doing this video with you and I am telling you the music and movements are doing miracles for me ! Merci so much !

    • Thank you for commenting and sharing. You’ve inspired me to write a blog post about depression and exercise along with other coping skills during this tough time (I’ll start working on it soon). Research actually shows exercise is more beneficial than medication for depression so I truly hope my workouts (or anyone else’s workouts) keep you motivated and continue to help boost your mood. I am not down playing medications at all since they definitely have a huge role to play with major depression but I just want to emphasize the importance of exercise, too. I hope to continue seeing comments from you so I know you’re continuing:) Stay strong and you will come out of this (and listen to music that lifts you up, too).

  • I am a 76 year old senior and I LOVE this (I like the Bee Gees as well). It always surprises me how much younger adults like the music I loved and danced to. Thank you Jules, for creating all of your wonder workouts for seniors. They are good blizzard videos.

    • I have worked with seniors off and on since I’ve been 19 so I am very familiar with the songs all the way back to the 40’s. I definitely appreciate the music from all the years. I often run a program at work called, ‘Name that tune’ where I create playlists and play the oldies. So, yes, I know many of the oldies that a lot of seniors don’t even know! I’m happy to read you enjoyed this one:)

  • One of the best cardio videos I’ve seen. Great for seniors and those lacking bone density and everyone weak. Great as a warmup for any activity. One of the rare few like this where the movements are in time with the music.

  • I am in my mid-thirties and I love your walking workout. The music is great, the moves are fun, and as I train mostly for my mental health, your videos are a great complement to my routine. Thank you very much for your work!

    • Aww, thank you so much, Caroline! Working out for mental health is definitely just as important as for physical health:)

  • love love love LOVE this. I could do it over and over. And I have. 10 minutes are so easy to squeeze in even on super busy days any time of the day, and I say this as a champion exercise-avoider. Most importantly, each moment delivers on fitness, fun, and happiness. Glorious music (btw FINALLY after years of loving these songs I am catching some of the words from listening over and over, LOL). Fun, safe, effective moves- with Jules I never strain my knees or anything else, and that’s usually a worry. And my arms get a great little unexpected workout too in these 10 mins. Everything about Jules’s routines is so charming and delightful and well-thought out. Like many of my fellow-fans below, I truly can’t stop smiling as I do this. This Bee Gees routine is in my top three along with her new FABULOUS 80s routine (a fantastically fun way to begin the day) and her brilliant 60s/70s routine (perfect for ending the day, in part because of the superb stretches at the end). If I ever got stuck on a desert island, hope I could magically still access Jules’s routines on a big screen in the sky. I think I’d still do them while waiting for my ride. SO grateful for you, Jules, for your innovativeness and your generosity in making these – and sharing them with everyone.

    • Wow! I’m not even sure how to respond to your super kind words! Thank you SO much for taking the time to write out how you feel about the workouts. A HUGE thank you! ❤️💖💗💙💜

  • Love love love it, just did this 10 minute workout. It’s perfect for me since I just recently started working out again. The dancing low impact are great and an awesome way to get myself in shape again. Thank you so much 😊

  • I love adding this onto the ‘70s’ workout for a full fun heart pumping 30 min workout then ending with your 10 min stretch and balance routine.
