    • In my experience, the less you tell others about your eating habits, the better. Well-meaning but uninformed people try to talk us out of anything they don’t understand. It’s none of their business anyway.

  • Powerful. You definitely don’t go to the grocery store hungry thinking you’re empowered because you will make a compulsive decision and make an excuse for it. Pray before going into the battlefield.

  • “…pacifying things..” You nailed i😊t right there. Best advice I ever heard: “Just stop and ask yourself “What would I be feeling right now if I weren’t eating?” The answer to that question is the DIRECT ROUTE to the answer of WHAT WE ARE TRYING TO AVOID. Prepare yourself… this may uncover deep- seated (as in ‘decades old’) wounds, trauma, difficult emotions. In fact, could be the QUICKEST way to connect to those issues. But that means it’s time for healing.

  • I feel calm and relaxed in my 20 hr fast. No cravings. Amazing from the gal that hid her feelings in junk food in the past.
